Book Review: Touch of Frost

I didn't mention this in my last post, but this is goingin to be a book reviewing blog.
The First book I'm going to review is Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep.

~

I personally enjoyed this book. It was very well written, and Jennifer is a very good author. The plot was very interesting, and I really liked the main character.
~
Gwen Frost, the main character, goes to a school called Mythos Academy, where people like Valkyries and Spartans go. But Gwen is a Gypsy, so she doesn't fit in.
At school one day, the popular girl, Jasmine Ashton, is murdered, and Gwen wants to figure out why. So she goes on this big adventure around Mythos, to figure out about the Reapers, the servants of Loki, God of chaos, who are suspected of murdering Jasmine, and why they'd want to murder Jasmine. She also gets a big crush on Logan Quinn, the popular guy in the class, but it's rumoured that he's slept with every girl in the school. :/
There's also a girl called Morgan McDougall, who is a bit of a sl*t. She gets incredibly cozy with Jasmine's former boyfriend, Samson Sorensen after she dies.
~
In the book, Jennifer creates a very interesting character, who is tough and weak at the same time. She also weaves in a very neat love story, between Gwen and Logan.
Though, Jennifer put in a bit too much... fun between Morgan and Samson for my taste. Those parts made me a bit uncomfortable.
All in all, this is a very well written book, and I would definitely recommend it.

This book is more aimed towards girls, In my opinion.
8.5 out of 10.
